In the spirit of Peter Weir's GREEN CARD, DOES THIS MEAN WE'RE MARRIED? tells the story of an American trying to become a French citizen. Unfortunately, director Carole Wiseman's version lacks the comic panache and romantic chemistry of the 1990 Gerard Depardieu vehicle.
