Ford is forced to struggle through a hospital soap opera as the son of a well-to-do physician. When he marries a lower-class patient, Dad disowns him. Ford then decides to open shop in a New York slum as a general practitioner. Also included is an anti-abortion message as Ford's sister, DeHaven, dies undergoing an abortion, paying the price the production codes in those days demanded. leave a comment
