An anti-western which attempts to deflate the myth of the gunslingers. Set during the historic gunfight at OK Corral, Keach, in the title role, spends most of his time interested in Dunaway while down at the jail Yulin energetically portrays the pragmatic Earp. Director Perry is only
moderately capable of handling the talents in a film which is either meditative or boring, depending on how it is viewed.
