Childish film based on the pulp hero of the 1930s, Doc Savage, played as a centerfold by Ely. The doc takes a whirl down to Hidalgo and tries to hunt down the lug who killed his father. The guilty one turns out to be Wexler, who is spending time in a jungle gold mine. A frosty example of
the hot-and-cold direction of Michael Anderson. Michael Berryman of THE HILLS HAVE EYES has a bit as a coroner.
