An obnoxious satire of the South best described by one of its songs: "Uncle Tom's Cabin Is a Cabaret Now." Father and daughter Gurgle lose their medicine show, which is on the land of a bankrupt Kentucky colonel. To save it from foreclosure, Miss Gurgle and an enthusiastic bunch of
workers put on an amateur show in the old southern home. Dancing girls, the Gurgles, and the Peachtrees can't save this poor specimen of Confederate comedy.
