A laborious piece of junk that takes itself too seriously and becomes preachy. Salvatori is struggling to find a job to help his mother, who is in the hospital. He takes a job as a bartender at a party held by a rich industrialist Jurgens, who can't himself attend the party because he is very sick and is throwing it only out of vanity.
