Struggling composer Nares saves wife Hume from the amorous clutches of Lord Quilhampton (Huth), who wants to put her in his show. But Nares, as the anonymous author of the musical, has the last word on casting and is able to circumvent the lord's good deed and dark intentions. Nares, born in 1888, who began acting on the stage in 1908, and in the movies in 1914, in his day was known as the longest-lasting matinee idol in the movies, with his last screen credit in 1941. leave a comment
