Dirty Laundry

1987, Movie, PG-13, 79 mins

A torturous "comedy" that is about as insipid as they come. The inane premise has the hip Jay (Leigh McCloskey) at the neighborhood laundromat where he inadvertently mixes his bag of laundry with a drug dealer's drop and wanders off with $1 million. Jay then wonders why he is being terrorized by a gun-toting lug. An embarrassment from start to finish, DIRTY LAUNDRY isn't worth the film stock it's photographed on. The direction is absent, the screenwriting better left undiscussed, and the acting uninspired. Overlong at 79 minutes, DIRTY LAUNDRY bypassed theatrical release and went straight to video. leave a comment
