The Dirty Game

This three-part film, concerning the underside of the espionage world, had three directors, the most notable being Terence Young, who directed some of the James Bond movies. The three spy cases are related in that Ryan supervised each of them. The first story is about an American agent, Gassman, in Rome undercover as a kidnaper with hopes that the enemy will hire him. Russian agents hire him to kidnap an Italian scientist who has invented a new rocket fuel. Gassman prevents the kidnaping and convinces the scientist to give the plans for the fuel to the Americans.
