Cooper, who had outgrown the child roles that made him famous, stars in this implausible picture about a military school cadet and his mom, Astor, who has been jailed for fraud in a frameup. She tries her best to keep her son from learning that she is behind bars, but a classmate broadcasts the news. Cooper enters an orphanage and adapts the same ruse, deception, to keep Mom thinking he is still in the academy. A weak plot makes this one tough to latch on to. leave a comment
