Gampu, a South African tribesman, finds one of his twin daughters murdered. Makgoba killed her for her blood, which he must drink to win back his title as stick fighting champion. Gampu murders Makgoba and is arrested. Baker investigates the case, and his wife, Prowse, takes interest in
Gampu's plight. Gampu is sentenced to two years of hard labor, and, when he is released, he returns to his village and kills witch doctor Sithebe who prescribed the potion for Makgoba. The village is then free from the power of the witch doctor, and Gampu goes to Johannesburg to clear his name
