Why Must I Die?

This interesting thriller finds Moore playing the daughter of Sherman, an over-the-hill safecracker. She's involved with Ames, a small-time gangster who, like her father, continually promises a big score. Moore goes along with the pair on a safecracking job as lookout, but the two prove to be incompetent. Moore goes back to singing in nightclubs and gets involved with Harvey, a club owner. Meanwhile, her father has taken up with Paget, a lady safecracker. Moore is forced to accompany her father and his enamorata on a job, and Harvey comes along and is shot by Paget.
