WW II drama set in the Philippines has Derek as captain of a small outfit on an island under Japanese attack. The men, along with Derek's fiancee, Andress, attempt to escape by trekking through the jungle. But the group walks into disaster, with everyone being killed except Andress, who
continues to the beach. The picture's title is from a sequence in which Andress has sex with a virgin soldier before the young man is killed. This was Derek's first try at directing and as bad as it is, it's his best effort since his other five efforts all achieved zero star status.
