WW II drama set in the Philippines has Derek as captain of a small outfit on an island under Japanese attack. The men, along with Derek's fiancee, Andress, attempt to escape by trekking through the jungle. But the group walks into disaster, with everyone being killed except Andress, who continues to the beach.
