This film owes a lot to Elia Kazan's PANIC IN THE STREETS and, to a lesser extent, George Romero's THE CRAZIES. (Kazan's film dealt with a police search for criminals that unknowingly are infected with a highly communicable and deadly disease.) The production is dated, and themes are poorly developed.
