Dick Tracy Meets Gruesome: Review

This final feature in the Dick Tracy series headlines Karloff as the evil ex-con Gruesome. After the fluffy Gwynne witnesses a bank heist in which everyone is temporarily frozen stiff from a mysterious gas wielded by Karloff, she calls in boy friend Byrd. He is soon in hot pursuit of Karloff, and, in the obligatory comic ending, gets his man. Far from serious, this picture is colored with wickedly amusing character tags--L.E. Thal, the inventor of the lethal freeze gas; I.M. Learned, the informative gal doctor; and Dr. A. Tomic, a noted inventor. A fine example of good, clean fun. leave a comment
