The best of the three "Dick Barton" films, with Stannard taking on Cabot and Raglan, who have an atomic device and are bent on destroying anything they can aim it at. The film moves at such a fast pace that the holes in the story blur and are overlooked. The action is tight and
entertaining. In the climax, Stannard escapes from a pit of poisonous snakes and then battles his way to the top of Blackpool Tower to stop Cabot from aiming the device at the city. Stannard's other outing as Dick Barton were DICK BARTON--SPECIAL AGENT (1948) and DICK BARTON AT BAY (1950).
