If a bachelor's diary held anything of interest it was overlooked in this film adaptation. Traylor is just shy of a walk up the aisle when his bride-to-be, Crane, accidentally stumbles upon one of his diaries. The pages are overflowing with accounts of this modern-day Casanova's affairs.
Told in a series of redundant flashbacks, the clumsy hand of producer/director Howard fails to keep interest for long. An unsympathetic character's life told in an uncaptivating style doesn't leave much room for praise.
