An unpolished effort that follows American detective McCarthy in Johannesburg, South Africa, as he pushes for a wrongly accused native's freedom. In the process, he crosses paths with McDowall, a girl from the US who leads a diamond smuggling ring. His hunger for justice forces him to turn
her in, even though he has fallen for her. Landscape photography is impressive.
