Big-budget musical extravaganza starring Grable, the girl with the "mink coat complex," as the top-draw entertainer in Gaxton's successful nightclub. Trouble starts when Gaxton's son Haymes, a medical student, falls for Grable and decides to drop out of school and become a hoofer against his father's wishes.
