The Devil's Widow: Review

Gardner is an old witch who uses her powers to keep her swinging young friends around her. Boring stuff, with McDowall directing an aging Gardner in a story that seems to relive a part of her past when, after she left Hollywood in 1957, she surrounded herself with admiring rich playboys and famous matadors in Madrid until she returned to the screen three years later. Songs composed and sung by The Pentangle, except for "Sun in My Eyes"(Salena Jones, William Spier). leave a comment
