Weissmuller plays himself in this silly jungle film. He leads professor Jackson and his daughter, Stevens, into the interior in search of an associate of Jackson who has set himself up as a god among the natives. Along the way they clash with villains seeking buried treasure and watch a tiger fight a hyena.
