Lydon and Barnes play a pair of young Texans who flee the carpetbagger rule of the oppressive Paiva. On the trail they meet fugitive gunfighter Morris, who befriends Lydon when he and Barnes have a falling out. Barnes is cornered by Paiva and one of his deputies and he kills them both, and blames the murder on Lydon to get his revenge.
