This average desert opus with a decent cast and well-staged, colorful action scenes stars Meeker as a Foreign Legion captain sent to Fort Valeau to command after the last company of troops was slaughtered by the Arabs, who now hold the fort. After many clever moves by Meeker, including an injection of romance and trickery, the Legionnaires defeat the Arabs, but not until most of their number are killed in battle. leave a comment
