This loose adaptation of James Fenimore Cooper's novel is better than Lew Lander's ridiculously incompetent 1943 version--but not by much. Barker, a white scout raised by Mohicans, aids a family of settlers against a tribe of warring Indians. Barker gets involved with old trader Flippen and his two lovely daughters, Moreno and O'Donnell, when he saves them from an attack by the warring Huron tribe.
