Scott gives one of his finest performances as a gunman who rides into town obsessed with killing Carroll, who carried off Scott's wife sometime earlier and whom Scott blames for her subsequent suicide. Everyone in the Carroll-run town makes life miserable for Scott, who learns that his wife had gone with Carroll willingly. When the final showdown comes, French, Carroll's new mistress, shoots Carroll in the shoulder so that Scott won't gun him down in a "fair" fight. DECISION... read more leave a comment
