Death Wish 3

This film omits whatever level of social comment its two predecessors had in favor of simple, almost orgasmically satisfying bloodletting. The film opens as Charles Bronson moves from Los Angeles to a rundown neighborhood of New York City, where he finds his friend has been killed by gang members. He is arrested, suspected of the crime, and locked into a cell with some of the same gang members who actually did the killing, including the leader of the gang, Gavan O'Herlihy. When one of them tries to attack him, Bronson smashes the thug's head into the bars and makes an enemy of O'Herlihy. Detective Ed Lauter recognizes Bronson from his earlier vigilante adventures a...
