Death Goes North

Incredibly complicated north woods murder mystery in which two Mounties and Rin Tin Tin, Jr., try to sort out the mess. A young lumber heiress, Bromley, is having trouble making her timber payments due to the tampering of a pair of rival lumberjacks who want her land. In desperation, she wires her uncle in England for help, but he has been murdered by his male secretary, who then poses as the uncle and travels to Canada to claim the land for himself and his wife. Somehow, the blame for the killing is laid on the rival lumberjacks, who protest their innocence.
