Fred Dryer (TV's "Hunter") is Sgt. Jack Burns, a tough-as-nails Marine sent to the Middle Eastern country of Jamal (Lebanon by another name). A man of action, Burns is commissioned by his old pal Col. Halloran (Brian Keith) to run security at the US embassy. His real job is as an ally and observer for the local military forces, who are constantly besieged by terrorists.
