Deal Of The Century: Review
Vastly disappointing black comedy that seemed to have everything going for it: a good director, a good screenwriter, and a good cast. Unfortunately, something went very wrong. The story concerns arms dealer Eddie Muntz (Chevy Chase), partner Ray Kasternak (Gregory Hines), and their wacky adventures selling all manner of death-dealing machines to any country that can rustle up the dough. The whole thing goes over like a lead balloon.
