Overly plotted independent western written by its star Hall, Jr., who plays a young cowboy who rescues Lester from Indians. Together the duo sets out for Deadwood where Hall, Jr., is mistaken for Billy the Kid. Soon the poor sap is captured by Indians, meets up with his father, Hall, Sr., falls in love with squaw Cottier, and eventually faces a showdown with Wild Bill Hickock. Question: I have been looking all over the Web for some kind of hint as to when the Deadwood Season 2 will be released on DVD — with no luck. Help!

Answer: Since it now appears that Deadwood Season 3 will launch in tandem with The Sopranos in March, I'm betting the second-season DVD will "street" in late February. Hey, just in time for my birthday!
