This weak thriller copies the styles of 1940 crime novels without any feel for the genre. Los Angeles detective Brent Huff gets pulled into a whirlpool of love, deceit, and danger. In the Bahamas on assignment, he meets Ingrid Boulting, a wealthy, alluring Beverly Hills woman who resists his advances, giving her husband's recent death as an excuse.
