You know you've seen this sort of thing before, you just can't remember where -- oh, right! DEADLOCK.
Once again, two escaped prisoners must remain within 30 feet of one another or their exploding neck collars will detonate. Tony Austin (Esai Morales), who specializes in corporate espionage, is framed for murder by an amoral robber baron (Stephen McHattie), who later makes him an offer: He'll get him out of prison if Tony will locate fellow inmate Allie (Nia Peoples), a computer whiz who was convicted of of a crime actually committed by her fiance. Allie, it turns out, knows where her ex stashed $75 of the magnate's money. Let the chase begin!
About the best that can be said for this cheaply produced sequel is that director Graeme Campbell keeps it moving. leave a comment
