A tedious bore about Caine, a patient in an alcoholic recovery sanitarium, falling for Ralli. Ralli is married to Portman, a homosexual having an affair with Carlos Pierre. They all get together and have Newman join them for a robbery of Buck, a playboy with all sorts of money. Buck is a sadist not unlike Olivier in SLEUTH and is overjoyed at the prospect of the crooks coming to his home and the opportunity to have sport with them.
