The ageless Shannon Tweed exploits her sex appeal in this unsurprising thriller that peps up its ordinariness with simulated sex scenes. A playboy/killer with a lipstick fetish chokes his dates before throwing them off buildings, hilltops and other high places. LAPD veteran Rackles (Sam Jones) and San Francisco transplant Kate McBain (Shannon Tweed) lock horns over the homicide investigation, and take contrasting approaches to hunting the killer. Relying on logic, Kate ascertains that the serial slayer selects victims from the same posh escort service. Working from his gut instincts, Rackles zeroes in on millionaire hedonist Blue (John Enos), who was once cleared of charges in his mother's "suicidal" leap from a bridge. Even though she was bounced from the San Francisco police department for sleeping with the enemy, Kate ends up in bed with Blue; she feels he's just too gentlemanly and good between the sheets to be guilty. Moreover, Kate discovers that Rackles has a vested interest in convicting Blue: Years ago, Blue stole the heart of Rackles' fiancee, Robin, for whom Rackles still pines. Robin ended up on the call-girl hit list. Though her judgment is clouded by a fog of sexual satisfaction, Kate digs deeper for clues after Blue's procurer, Lilliana (Mary Shannon), is killed. The key to the murderer's identity might lie with Kate's chauvinist-pig coworker, Billy Trainer (Eric Keith), who extricates Kate from a tight spot on a rooftop. Is Rackles the actual perp or is he just determined to frame Blue? Just as the crime appears to be solved, Kate finds herself the pawn of the madman. This stale sexcapade offers voyeurs lots of unmotivated sex scenes and incidental nudity, so if your taste runs to tiny mysteries and large mammaries you may enjoy what it has to offer. leave a comment --Robert Pardi
