Dead Mate

This half-baked fright-night spoof follows waitress Nora Mae Edwards (Elizabeth Mannino) as she's swept off her feet by John Henry Cox (David Gregory), a handsome stranger who proposes, then takes her to the small town where he makes his living as a funeral director. In short order, Nora learns that John and other prominent townspeople are necrophiliacs. Fearing that she is about to become their next victim, she looks for a way out, but learns that most of the locals are in on the act. Just when matters look darkest, Nora wakes to discover that it has all been a dream...or has it? Poised somewhere between all-out creep show and black comedy, DEAD MATE lacks the sin...
