Those Were The Days

Holden receives top billing (in what was only his fourth picture) for the first time in this film which casts him as a man looking back on his college days at the turn of the century. A regular ladies' man who draws the wrath of all but his steadfast and loyal roommate Stone, Holden commits one too many pranks and finds himself facing judge Glaser in the courtroom. Holden is granted a week's continuance in an effort to find witnesses who will attest to his innocence. He learns that Granville is the judge's daughter and proceeds to woo her to get himself off the hook. Granville discovers Holden's scheme and, though she is hurt, helps him out anyway.
