Gregory Peck, in his first motion picture performance (after having been seen on the Broadway stage by producer Casey Robinson), stars here as Vladimir, the leader of a Soviet resistance group fighting the Germans during WW II. Caught behind enemy lines is Nina (Tamara Toumanova), a
