The Last Day Of The War

As WW II winds to a close, an American sergeant (George Maharis) leads a search for a German scientist whose help will be invaluable in perfecting the atomic bomb. Meanwhile, an SS major (Gerard Herter) searches for the same man, though he intends to execute him. Before the scientist is finally safe, his daughter is brought from the States to help identify him, the Germans and Americans pursuing him clash, and the SS major receives his just reward at the hands of a group of concentration camp escapees.
