Entirely derivative, this overly ambitious low-budget science-fiction film stars Jim Davis as the head of a family that moves into a modern, solar-powered home only to be bedeviled by strange occurrences brought about by the simultaneous explosion of three stars. Tiny aliens appear to
daughter Jenny (Natasha Ryan), then a small spaceship arrives. Soon it is discovered that the house has entered a time-space warp, which explains the presence of the dinosaurs that are fighting in the back yard. Filmed once before, in 1978, as TIME WARP, THE DAY TIME ENDED suffers from poor
special effects, especially its stop-motion animation.
