Lackluster spaghetti western directed by Valerii, who was once Sergio Leone's assistant and who would later go on to direct the wonderful MY NAME IS NOBODY (1973). Van Cleef stars as a master gunman who decides to allow drifter Gemma to apprentice under him. Soon the two take over a town
and Van Cleef goes mad, killing everyone in town, until Gemma shoots down his teacher. A western with no sense of style, this is just another blood-dripping oater.
