Girdler, who aped THE EXORCIST (1973) with ABBY (1974) and JAWS (1975) with GRIZZLY (1976), turns his attention to Hitchcock's classic THE BIRDS (1963) in this laughable film. Here the animals of the world are attacking people in response to humankind's aerosol-can destruction of the ozone layer.
