Another Dawn: Review

Set in the Sahara, this tepid film about a love triangle stars 28-year-old Flynn as the dashing young officer who falls for his commander's wife, Francis, who reminds him of his great love, killed in WW I. Pretty dull until a lame battle scene between the British and the Arabs takes place during a sand storm. Highlight is the magnificent musical score by Korngold, which is better than the film for which it was written. leave a comment
