George Montgomery, a US military scout named after his famous uncle, Davy Crockett, is assigned to stop Indian attacks on a defenseless group of wagon trains making their way west. Soon he realizes that someone in his outfit has been tipping the Indians off, because they seem to know what his next move will be before he makes it.
