Daughter Of The Sun God

Holmes is a writer and explorer vacationing in Peru, and Montell is the niece of an archaeologist who has disappeared with a map of a legendary lost Inca city. She persuades Holmes to set up an expedition to find the city, with Knapp, another American archaeologist, as their guide. Knapp, who had stolen the map, splits from the group and forms a bandit gang to steal the gold from the lost city. Holmes and Montell make it to the city first and warn the natives, and the Incas take care of Knapp and the mountain bandits. Lots of snakes, crocodiles, jaguars, and even quicksand help keep the tension going.
