A somewhat disappointing Edgar G. Ulmer effort, DAUGHTER OF DR. JEKYLL is nonetheless fascinating for the manner in which Ulmer skirts his obviously paltry budget to make a memorable, if minor, horror film. It begins with a sequence in which a smoky silhouette appears on the screen while a
