Das Haus Am Fluss

Based on the story "The Russian Pelt," written by renowned German author Wolf in 1942, DAS HAUS AM FLUSS concentrates on the moral decay and guilt that destroy a small family of fisherfolk who live near a river just outside wartime Berlin. Sass and Gorr are a married coup,e who work at a factory producing goods essential to the war. Groth is the decadent son of the factory owner who desires Sass and who sets in motion a tragic series of events aimed at allowing him to have an affair with the woman.
