An attempt to duplicate the success of the HARDY FAMILY series with an all-black cast, ONE DARK NIGHT was the first entry in a proposed series dealing with the Brown family. Moreland stars as the clan's father who is thrown out of the house when fellow family members tire of his lazy ways. He travels to the desert, where he discovers radium and becomes a rich man.
