Writer-director Ray Gower's painfully pokey, low-budget rubber reality picture features AMERICAN BEAUTY (1999) star Thora Birch as two very different girls who apparently share one soul.

Blonde Susan Hamilton (Thora Birch) is living a perfect life with her husband David (Christien Anholt); after months of in vitro fertilization she's pregnant and the two of them are looking forward to a new life as parents. But when Susan falls asleep, she dreams of Karen Clark (also Birch), a deeply unhappy young woman who works at a mortuary and is pursued by mysterious killers. Is Susan dreaming of Karen or is Karen dreaming of Susan? Writer-director Ray Gower never makes either Susan or Karen a convincing character, so it's hard ot care what happens to either in this gimmicky thriller. leave a comment --Maitland McDonagh
