A popular Japanese soap opera was expanded to almost three hours and pumped up with an all-star cast to produce this exercise in tedium. Sugimura is the widowed mother of four daughters, two of them married and two still living at home. Dull script and lousy performances will put most viewers to sleep in no time. leave a comment
