Cry Danger

A taut and clever mystery, CRY DANGER is set in motion as the tough-talking Powell is released from the pen after serving five years for a robbery he didn't commit. To exonerate a friend still in prison for the same crime, he begins to investigate, aided by a crippled US marine, Erdman, who has some of the snappiest bits of dialog in the film. The pair move into a trailer camp to be near sexy Fleming, who lives there. She is the wife of the pal in the pen and had once been Powell's girl. He links her up with gangster Conrad, who almost frames him with a neat ploy by which Powell appears to be caught with some of the $100,000 he allegedly stole five years earlier. A...
